Brian Acord is a seasoned entrepreneur and consultant who has worked with over 30 startups. In addition to starting several companies on his own, Mr. Acord has helped launch several new ventures under his entrepreneurial consulting firm Ascend 6 (www.ascendsix.com). His clients cover a variety of industries and include everything from garage ventures to Fortune 500 clients such as United Airlines (UAL), Tech Data (TECD), and Walt Disney World (DIS).

 

He is the founder of Young Entrepreneurs of America (www.yeabiz.com), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that teaches jr. high and high school students about entrepreneurship and helps them start their own businesses. Mr. Acord holds a B.S. in Education from Brigham Young University and earned his MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business. He is a strong advocate of education and has taught entrepreneurship at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
