Entrepreneur Boot Camp

YEA is working with Salt Lake Community College to provide a one-day Entrepreneur Boot Camp for high school students in late September. Every high school in the State will be allowed to nominate two students to attend this day-long event for FREE!

 

Gain first-hand experience on what it takes to start your own business. Furthermore, select students will be chosen to compete for a Sales Contest and a Marketing Contest where they can design the theme and the logo for the December 6, 2007 Young Entrepreneur Summit.

New Curriculum

We are working with all of our teenage entrepreneurs from our Summer Startup Program to develop a first-hand account of what it takes for a high school student to star their own business. Coming this Fall teachers will have access to a complete record of four different startups and the tales of the entrepreneurs behind them. You can follow our progress online.

2007 Young Entrepreneurial Summit Announced

The 2007 Young Entrepreneur Summit will be held Thursday, December 6th, 2007 at the Larry H. Miller Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence on the Salt Lake Community College South Campus. Last year's workshops have been improved and expanded to include four completely new hands-on workshops.

 

Speakers will remain in a state of flux until mid-November but they will definitely be comparable to our past list of speakers. The complete agenda will also be announced in November. For more information or to sponsor this year's event, please contact us.


St. George Summit

YEA has been trying for years to offer a comprehensive Young Entrepreneur Summit in the land of Dixie. This year it looks like we are on track to provide a great opportunity for our many entrepreneurially minded friends, teachers and students in the southern portion of Utah. We are targeting January of 2008 for this great event and I look forward to seeing all of our friends from down south soon. Check back here for more details.
