2006 Summit Recap
The 2006 Young Entrepreneur Summit was the largest YEA event to date. Over 600 students, teachers, entrepreneurs and guests attended this year’s event at the Larry H. Miller Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence on the Salt Lake Community College South Campus. The newly added workshops provided a great deal of interaction and students were able to participate in renaming and rebranding a local chocolate company in preparation for a national launch. The new brand (Crev) will be hitting the shelves in 2007. Brock Blake from Funding Universe led another spirited workshop on how to properly pitch a business to potential investors.
Our keynote speaker for this year’s event was none other than Larry H. Miller himself. Larry owns a number of automobile dealerships as well as the Utah Jazz Basketball team. Here is a complete list of speakers and the day's agenda.
